Description: Total vacuum packing (sealing the film around the whole tray, not only along the standard sealing areas. Once the tray is vacuum packed, the outer film is applied against the tray and product. The film and tray properties then allow for sealing over the entire area between the film and the tray – and the film hugs the product.
The advantages: more appealing presentation, sealing of the film over the entire surface of the tray inhibits exudates and provides longer shelf life.
Uses: any.
